Chicago Cubs left fielder Alfonso Soriano might be out up to six weeks with a broken left hand after he was hit by a pitch last night against the Atlanta Braves.
Soriano was hit in the second inning by Jeff Bennett and will be in a splint for three weeks. He entered the game with a .284 batting average and 15 home runs; however, he came off the disabled list.
