Former Brave Tommy Holmes Passes Away…

From the AP — Tommy Holmes, who hit in 37 consecutive games for the Boston Braves in 1945 to set a modern National League record that stood until it was broken by Pete Rose in 1978, died. He was 91. Holmes died of natural causes at an assisted living facility in Boca Raton, Fla
