Mitchell Denies Involvement in Leaking Byrd Info…

The baseball world has been wondering about the Paul Byrd affair and who divulged the info that he used HGH in the past.

Well, one name might as well be crossed off the list, assuming we take his word for it and, no it was not to throw a wrench into the Cleveland Indians plans for the World Series.

According to baseball investigator George Mitchell, who is convienently also a director for the AL champion Boston Red Sox, denied Monday providing information for a story that Cleveland Indians pitcher Paul Byrd used human growth hormone.
