More on The Death of Joe Kennedy…

Well, the tragic death of Joe Kennedy is still shaking up baseball and there’s an autopsy that will be performed on him in the near future.

However, now there are some details:

TAMPA, Fla. - Medical tests to determine the cause of death of left-handed pitcher Joe Kennedy are expected to take about six to eight weeks, but his agent said the pitcher had an enlarged heart, FoxSports.com reported Saturday night.

The preliminary diagnosis came from doctors one day after Kennedy’s death, agent Damon Lapa said, FoxSports.com reported.

Results of Kennedy’s autopsy are pending the completion of the tests, said forensic investigator Amanda Whidden on Saturday. She is with Hillsborough County’s medical examiner’s office.

Sad, just sad.
