Phil Rizzuto Passes Away…
by Anthony Amobi

Phil Rizzuto, the Hall of Fame shortstop during the Yankees’ dynasty years and beloved by a generation of fans for exclaiming “Holy cow!” as a broadcaster, died today. He was 89.
His nickname was “Scooter”.
I remember him from back in the day from doing the “Money Store” commericals as a kid, and he calling games on TV, but he was a fine player and a good person.
Rest in peace, Phil.
