‘Round the Bases…

* Outfielder Jose Guillen and the Kansas City Royals have reached a preliminary agreement for a three year, $36 million deal.

* The Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs have completed a three-player trade that will give Atlanta a new left-handed relief pitcher and backup infielder. The Braves acquired left-handed pitcher Will Ohman and infielder Omar Infante from the Cubs on Tuesday in exchange for right-handed pitcher Jose Ascanio.
