Union to Look At Why Bonds Is Unemployable; He Still Wants Play…

The lack of offers to Barry Bonds will be examined by baseball’s Players Association as part of its annual review of the free agent market. As well, Bonds contends that he’s ready to play in 2008, and will not retire…

“I’m not going to retire. I don’t think that’s going to happen,” he told MLB.com Tuesday. “I’m working out. I’m training. If my phone rings, it rings. If it don’t, it don’t. I have a cell phone. I have a Blackberry. They work. If something comes up, I’m sure they’ll let me know. I’ll come back in July if I have to. It depends on the circumstances.”

Barry Being Barry. I think someone will still take a chance on him…
